Carlyle Logo Design Contest

The current City logo (left) has identified the City of Carlyle for about the last 5 years. The sailboat logo has served the City extremely well during its lifetime, but it is time to consider a new logo for the City. One that better reflects the City’s varied characteristics and strengths. The Carlyle City Council has approved a contest for the submission and selection of the next official Carlyle logo. Rules are more clearly defined below, but the contest is open to residents of the City of Carlyle and to students of the Carlyle Unit School District.

The City is seeking the submission of concept designs for the next City logo. The winning submission will be sent toa professional graphic designer for final creation and use. The winning submitter will be awarded $500 for their submission! Deadline for submission is 4:30 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2009.
